Our Beautiful Wedding

On December 11, 2010 I married my very best friend and the true love of my life, the father of my beautiful daughter Genevieve and my soul mate, Thomas Michael Perry, Jr. It was a true fairy tale wedding with all the dazzle in the world.... We were married at Jackson Square in New Orleans. We had the most amazing wedding party ever and our wonderful friends shared this day with us.... Along with our family..... It was the best day of our lives along with the day our daughter was born. I dedicated a song to him: God Bless the broken road by Rascal Flatts. God truly did bless my broken road with Tom... There is no one else better for me. Our song we danced to was That's All by Michael Buble... We had a wonderful and fun reception...at the end of the wedding we had a mardi gras parade small one and we ended the wedding with a carriage ride.... It truly was an amazing day and it was all that I could have ever dreamed or imagined.... I am so thankful to God everyday for helping me get this life.... I love you Tom!

Black Friday

Wow this is truly the first year I have not been in town to do Black Friday with my mom by choice... Last year we were gonna go but no waste of time because the sales were just not that great. But this year was actually the first I didn't have the option of going with my mom which made me kind of sad.... However, the day did turn out to be an awesome day.... We layed around the house in our pj's all day, snuggled up, played with Genny Bug and Gracie Dog. Then we had a nice dinner and now I am blogging and Tom is playing the XBOX..... So it turned out to be a great day... However, it does remind me to be thankful for each and every moment you have with all of your family.

Those moments are so priceless...

What A Wonderful Thanksgiving Day

We had it all.. All the stuffing, the ham, the turkey, the deviled eggs, etc with all the trimmings. It was truly a great day... Family and Football and to top it off the Saints won..... pretty cool day. Genny bug played hard all day long until right before dinner then she passed out and didn't get to eat the Turkey dinner... She had to eat at home but she did not seem to mind one bit. Last year we were at my awesome mom's house for dinner and the food was great and last year Genny Bug was so tiny she just layed in my arms while we ate. So much has happened with in the last year and we are so thankful for it all.

I am super Thankful that Tom found a job as quickly as he did a good job which will bring us to all of our new beginnings in Seattle, WA. I am thankful that God gave us our beautiful baby girl. I am thankful that both of our parents are in good health. Super thankful for all of our family's and all of our friends. I am also very thankful for my sweet Gracie dog........

I am hopefully that everyone had a great thanksgiving.... there was def a lot of food to be eaten and my belly was full.....

I love you all.......

Genny Bug's 1st Birthday

My sweet preicous miracle baby is 1 years old.. Genevieve was born on November 2, 2009 at 2:21pm on a Monday by C-Section... She was the most beautiful baby ever. It was an amazing experience for us all. I had several surgeries and complications that always showed that I would never have children because of these problems. So around the end of March of 2009 I found out that we were preganant with our little miracle baby. What an amazing day and forever changing day that was. I can not explain the instant love I felt from the moment I knew I was pregnant with her. It was amazing and heart wrenching all at the same time. To this day it is still super amazing..... This year has been a wonderful whirl wind for us watching our beautiful baby girl grow. I remember the first few months when she just layed in my arms and now she is walking around everywhere in the house and out side. No one prepares you for the experience and love you have for your children. It is simply divine..... I am so thankful that we have our sweet baby girl Genevieve Renee Perry. She is the most wonderful thing in this world. She truly is our little ladybug who has brought so much joy and happiness to our lives. We now can't even begin to imagine our lives with out her in it.

Genny Bugs birthday was filled with laughter, tears and joy. We shared the weekend before her birthday celebrating with her little buddies and all the mommies and Tom's family too. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had her party at the park. She was just walking around visiting everyone and be the light of the party just as she has become in our lives. Genny got many wonderful gifts which we had to move on from at the last gift to her cake bc she was getting so sleepy.... Genny wasted no time smearing her cake all over her face, hair and of course her clothes. What an amazing day and we were so thankful to spend it with her friends and her family.

On Genny's birthday we had to take her to get her 1 year shots which were not fun at all and she was more upset than she had ever been before. So after her shots we took her to chuck e cheese to celebrate her birthday. She seemed to be having the most wonderful time.

Happy 1st Birthday my little bug we love you so much.

A New Adventure

So Tom, Genny Bug, The Gracester and I will be moving to Tacoma, WA around the 1st of Jan. I am very excited about this adventure but also a little sad to leave my new friends that Genny Bug and I have made here in Kansas City, MO. However, we both love to travel so this is somewhere we both have not been before. When your 1st child comes along you have some many thoughts in your head of how it should be. I thought after meeting all the wonderful mommies and babies when our babies were around 8 weeks old that my Genny Bug would grow up with the other babies we had made friends with. It is hard to imagine after all of our play dates that come th 1st of the year we will be some where new with out our friends... Simply hard to imgine that all those walks, play dates, park visits, pumpking patch visits will end for the time being. I have really enjoyed a lot about Kansas City, MO but as with everything change is inevidable. Hopefully one day we will be back and we can re-kindle some of the friendships that may fade with this move. I do know that some of these friendships will not die but grow stronger. There are some we are closer to than others, those are the ones I know will still be here. But even those that we are not closest too we will miss those visits as well. Ther have been so many moments of laughter, sadness, joy and even some anger that has been shared. These are the moments in life that we crave and desire. So to leave some behind seems un thinkable. I will have to close on this subject for the night and open again soon:)

Beautiful Walk At The Lake

Wow today we got up and took a 2 mile walk around the lake today could have gone the full 5 miles but Genny Bug was not really up for it. Took some great pictures of her playing in the grass. Stopped and admired the beauty around us from the beautiful trees, the wonderful houses, the trees and even a few ducks were out today.. Living by the lake definately has wonderful fullfilling moments. I deeply enjoyed the conversation with my sweetheart he is such a wonderful man, father and life long partner. Stop and enjoy the things you have in life -- it's not always about the things you don't have that bring you happiness.....
